Laura Moehrlin, MOT OTR/L

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

My therapy philosophy centers on fostering engagement and creativity by creating a supportive and FUN environment through play. I believe that children feel more comfortable and are more likely to open up when therapy is enjoyable. To achieve this, I use a variety of engaging activities, including whole-body sensory motor skills and creative tasks tailored to each child’s interests and developmental stage.

I’m especially known for my love of using silly monsters in drawing and fine motor activities, earning me the reputation of the OT who loves monsters! This playful approach not only builds trust but also helps address and work toward each child’s goals in a natural and enjoyable way. Ultimately, my goal is to make therapy a positive and fun experience that encourages growth and most importantly, FUN.
