She began her career at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Saint Louis in a Level III NICU and Pediatric Rehab Unit. Her background with medically fragile children and trauma has given her a deeper understanding of families who care for a child with disabilities. She is a strong advocate for functional independence and the importance it has on young adulthood. She has worked with children in a variety of settings including early intervention, clinics, hospitals and schools. Kristin was also an adjunct professor at Judson University in the Department of Early Childhood.
